Four diverse South Australian poets invite you to share their wicked sense of humour at Coriole Vineyards' Poets & Pizza evening.

Based on their raucous poetry and ability to entertain a crowd, four South Australian poets have been selected by the SA Writers Centre to perform live at Coriole's Poets & Pizza event. This entertaining evening is a must see annual event on the Coriole calendar.

The highly acclaimed poets performing their new works live are: Tracey Korsten, Ken Vincent, Sharon Kernot and Teri Louise Kelly.

Tracey Korsten has been writing and performing for many years. She has worked for Bakehouse, State Theatre Company, La Mama, Adelaide Playback and many others. Poetry became an interest a few years back - since then she has served on the board of Friendly Street Poets, co-edited the anthology 'Sorcerers & Soothsayers’, been published in ‘After the Race’ and performed at many slams.

Ken Vincent is an author and poet who co-founded and chairs the management committee of the North Eastern Writers Inc. He is passionately interested in literature and poetry and contributes regularly to the Gawler Poets open poetry readings and is also a Board member and volunteer for the SA Writers Centre. Ken has had three books published.

Sharon Kernot writes poetry and prose. She is co-convener of the Gawler Poetry Readings – Poet at the Pub, a founder member of North Eastern Writers Inc and is currently working as Writer-in-Residence for people with disabilities at the South Australian Writers Centre. Sharon is the author of a collection of short stories and poems and has co-edited two anthologies – which have been published in a variety of Australian magazines.

Teri Louise Kelly’s short stories and poetry have appeared globally, appearing everywhere from the New York Quarterly to Landfall. She is a 4 book author described as an esoteric genre-bender who is currently fixated on vampires. Having recently completed a spoken word CD entitled ‘Love in Words & feet’ she also plays bass guitar in a rock band and is due to appear at the Emerging Writers Festival (2011), the London Poetry Festival (2012) and Berlin’s burlesque poetry extravaganza ‘Stand and Deliver’ (2012).

Warm yourself by the open fire, enjoy delicious wood oven pizza and Coriole’s award winning wines, as leading South Australian poets entertain you with their outstanding wit.

Tickets: $40 per person - includes live poetry and food (entrée, pizza, dessert and coffee). Coriole wines are available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
