The "Old Barn" label is reserved for small bottlings that are offered only to cellar door and mailing list customers. The fruit is sourced from a vineyard high in the Adelaide Hills, an outstanding area for this variety. The winemaking aims to produce a subtle and complex style of Chardonnay that will also develop in bottle. Produced in very small quantities and not always available.

Tasting Brief: "The Old Barn" Chardonnay

We are particularly pleased with this wine which shows great subtlety and integration of flavours. There are attractive aromatics of lemon zest and cream.

The palate is delicate but with pleasing texture and balance.
