Tasting Brief
2008 Semillon/ Sauvignon Blanc - An excellent example of the way these two varietals can work in harmony. The nose has crisp green apple with tropical hints that amplify in the mouth, expanding to suggest nashi pear and citrus. The Semillon adds texture and weight while the Sauvignon Blanc imparts a fresh, crispness to the wine. A little restraint makes it an ideal match with food.
