At Coriole we have three small bush-vine Grenache vineyards, Hill-Top, Old House and Stone Wall. This is a small bottling from these Estate vineyards.
The nose shows red fruits and sweet herbs. The palate is soft and juicy and of medium body framed by fine tannin.
"Beautiful hue, silky mouthfeel; rainbow array of red fruits and savoury/spicy finish. What a vintage. What a wine. 97 points"
"Good perfume here, and plenty of suede-like tannin to go with it. Liquorice, rose, spice, and deeper almost malty notes in with new leather, tea and mixed berries. Comes over almost Barolo-esque, slightly earthy, dry and firm, falling to more savoury than fruit sweet, with a saline edge through the finish. Excellent. Heaps of personality. 93 points"
