"Medium-deep red with a tint of purple and a spicy, meaty, plum-skinsy uncannily shiraz-like aroma. Some graphite/ironstone nuances. A serious glass of full-bodied red, elegant and taut, long on the follow-through. 92 points"
The Real Review
"Very good drinking for the contemporary Australian table. Reflective of a zeitgeist equating to pulpier textures, vibrancy and greater transparency. Aromas of baked black fruits, an amaro element, a sachet of thyme, mint, sage, rosemary and lavender. It's all corralled by a curb of gentle yet palpable tannins parlaying a savouriness over obvious sweet fruit. Best enjoyed with a moderate chill. 92 points"
