2024 ÄIN SALAH Cinsault

Our third release of ÄIN SALAH Cinsault, which was first produced in 2021. Cinsault is showing great promise in the vineyard for our conditions in McLaren Vale. It has shown to be a late-ripening variety with large berries and lighter skins.

We are very excited by this wine which stylistically lies between a heavy rose and light red. We picked this at 11.5 Be so have ended up with a red wine lighter in alcohol (11.4%) but importantly still packed with flavour and texture in the mouth.

Aromas and flavours waver between red fruits of raspberry, watermelon, pomegranate and ripe strawberry and complexing flavours of spiced citrus rind, blood orange, sweet herbs and lavender. The palate is rounded and full in the mouth with refreshing minerality. Low alcohol, soft acidity and low tannin makes this wine a perfect candidate for slightly chilled summer drinking.
