This wine is a co-ferment of grenache from our hilltop vineyard planted in 2010 and shiraz from our Pettigala vineyard planted in 1967. Both sites lie on the iron rich soils of the Coriole hillside. A glossy and fragrant wine of substance and persistence.

"A serious wine. Full-weighted, yet deftly extracted, with the choice of oak servicing tannic bulwarks against the teeming fruit. Sweet vanillins mingle with black cherry confiture, anise and raspberry bonbons. Dried herbs, beneath. Yet the structural fortitude ensures that nothing is overtly sweet here. A wine that should age well. 93 points"
