"From Coriole’s vineyard in Kuitpo at 400m. Old-oak fermentation and maturation. A new wine to the extensive lineup, and a very different fiano to the McLaren Vale iterations. Aromatically lifted, this is prettily adorned with white floral scents, peach blossom, jasmine, mint and stone fruit, with nashi and cold-poached apple more apparent on the palate. Such a charmingly fragrant and respectfully exotic wine, with a mineral undercurrent of wet stones and flint. It’s textural, acidity is vivid, there’s pithiness, and the flavour has nagging length. What a stunning new entrant to the swelling ranks of fiano. 95 points"
